Sensors detect physical or chemical variables, such as temperature, pressure and light, and convert them into electrical signals that computers can process and use to control systems in the automotive sector.

Examples of applications include brake force adjustment depending on altitude, temperature measurement in slide-out systems in motorhomes and headlight adjustment.
